Ritual Acupuncture has been voted Best Acupuncture Clinic for the second consecutive year and third year overall, Best Massage Therapist, Best Stretch Therapist, and Best Medical Office in Solano County for 2025. This recognition comes from the Times-Herald’s Best of Solano County readers’ poll, where residents across the county nominate and vote for the local businesses they trust most.
These awards reflect the trust and appreciation of our community, as well as our ongoing commitment to providing patient-centered care at our Vallejo clinic.
Solano County voters recognized Ritual Acupuncture across four categories
Winning one category in the Best of Solano County poll is a strong endorsement. Winning four signals something deeper, that patients across different treatment types consistently chose the same clinic. The four categories Ritual Acupuncture won in 2025 are:

Dr. Joel De Vera Moncada leads the clinic with board-certified expertise
Dr. Joel De Vera Moncada founded Ritual Acupuncture with a specific clinical philosophy: measure outcomes, adjust treatment plans based on what’s working, and give patients the tools to understand their own progress. He holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and is board-certified through the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine. He will soon complete a second Doctorate in Neuroscience Acupuncture joining a small team of international experts in this field from the United Kingdom, Australia, and throughout the United States.
His training in reproductive medicine, functional neurological disorders, and pain management shapes the clinical standards across the entire practice. Every provider on the team operates within the same framework, grounded in traditional Chinese medicine and guided by modern diagnostic reasoning.
