About

Evelyn Wu, MS, L.Ac

Evelyn is a Chinese Medicine practitioner, licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a speciality in reproductive health and fertility; her current area of interest is endometriosis and postpartum nutrition.

As a daughter of Taiwanese Chinese immigrants, the idea of food as medicine is a concept deeply embedded in her culture, and it has always fascinated her that something as seemingly simple as a home cooked meal made with love, intention, and ancestral knowledge could provide healing in such a profound way. Her undergraduate degree in sustainable agriculture and food systems were the seeds down her path towards herbalism, and loves to incorporate nutrition and herbal medicine into her treatment plans and encourages her patients to connect with their own ancestral foods and wisdom in their health journeys. Chinese Medicine considers mind, body, and spirit in its treatment principles, and each of her treatment plans is always tailored for each individual person, as we are all unique beings with our own goals and personalities.

To provide compassionate, trauma informed, and affirming care for those who have been pushed to the outskirts of our current medical system. Chinese Medicine in its essence is community medicine, and I strive to maintain that core belief in the practice of my ancestral medicine.
